I just had to

I know that this site is supposed to be about Emma, so I thought I would post this one. Dora and Diego are her favorite, so I knew I couldn't leave California without this picture. There was a very long line to get pics with them but I didn't have to wait because I was first in line... also the only adult in line:)

And the award goes to...

No I didn't really win an award. But I did something as cool that people only get to do on Oscar weekend. I got lots of oscar pictures and even walked the red carpet, it was covered in plastic but still, I walked it. It was a very busy week in Los Angeles, but unfortunately we didn't see any stars. Right place, wrong day.

I saw the sign

Here is an awesome picture of the Hollywood sign... without zoom. It was a beautiful day in Cali that day. Perfect for sightseeing.

Sea World

Now, this is MY happiest place on earth. I could live at Sea World. This is a pic of the Shamu show.

California Dreamin...

This was a wild ride that I didn't dare to go on. If you can do an extreme zoom on the front car, you can see Ben upside down with his arms up. It was the fastest, wildest coaster he has been on ever.

California Adventure is right...

This was the scariest ferris wheel I have EVER been on. I can honestly say I have no clue what the view is like because I had my head burried into Ben's neck the whole time. The blue loops are sliders and it slides from one end to the other, only about 8 feet long, but scary as ever.

California Trip

Ther first day of our 9 day getaway was spent at Universal Studios California. It is truly amazing what they do to make movies, and how big they can make the smallest of things. The day after Universal Studios, we went to Disneyland, or as I call it, "THE happiest place on earth!!" No pics of Disneyland tho, just Disney's sister park, California Adventure.

Emma's 3rd Birthday

This picture was done the day before Emma's third birthday. She was so excited and couldn't sleep because she knew we were throwing her a party. Thanks to all those that attended, and for those who didn't... you missed out on LOTS of toddler fun!!!

Here is Emma with one of her friends opening presents. Emma was a bit disappointed it was mostly clothes.... but when she realized most of the clothes were Dora, she forgot all about it.

Here is Emma crawling out of her ball pit from Grandma and Grandpa G. She really loves it and plays in it all the time. She also loves to tip it over and dump out all the balls.

Here is a nice picture of Emma's great-Grandma and her dog Scruffy.
Great-Grandma has been through alot in the past year or so, and we were all happy she joined us for Beach Week.

Reading to a Baby

Emma just LOVES her babies. She reads to her and even makes sure she's tucked in bed at night. She will make a great big sister and mommy one day, a long long time from now( maybe when she's 30 or so...)

Christmas Spirit

Emma just loves the dancing bear and penguins. Every night she says good night to them and kisses them. In this picture she struck a pose in the middle of a dance. Such a ham for the camera.

Tree Decorating with Daddy

Here's a good one of Emma and her Daddy putting the Santa on top of the tree. She had a blast decorating the tree, dancing and wishing everyone a Merry Christmas.

Emma at a Wedding

Emma was supposed to be a Flower Girl at a wedding this summer, but due to her shyness we had to pull her out. She was still dressed up so pretty, and enjoyed looking like a princess for a day. Always a princess in our eyes.

Chocolate Milk Cow

Emma was not too happy about being a cow for Halloween this year, she really wanted to be, what else, Dora. So I had to say something to get her hyped up about being a cow, and all I could think of was, chocolate milk cow. After I told her that's what she was being, she was excited and couldn't wait for Halloween. Had her face painted and everything. She loved going trick-or-treating this year.

Swimming in the Lake

After a busy day of boating and sea-dooing, daddy Emma and cousin Jessica decided to take a jump off the boat into the lake. Nice and cool.

Emma and Daddy Bumper Boating

Here's Emma and her dad spraying me with water while on bumper boats in West Edmonton Mall. She had such a good time, and did great for her first time on a bumper boat.
